Terms of Use

1. Our service

NextFileTools is a set of online file tools, such as merging, splitting, compressing and converting PDFs and images, plus tools for Thai-language and Thailand-specific tasks. Most tools are free to use without an account.

Currently every tool processes files in your own browser; your files are not uploaded to us. If a future tool needs server-side processing, we will say so clearly on that tool’s page, and how such files are handled will be described in our Privacy Policy.

2. Rights in your files

The files and content you use with the service belong to you. We claim no rights in your files.

You confirm that you own the files, or have the owner’s permission to edit, convert or process them.

3. Prohibited uses

You agree not to use the service to:

• process illegal content, such as child sexual abuse material, copyright-infringing content or forged documents;
• unlock PDFs you have no right to, or use the unlock tool to bypass printing or copying restrictions set by copyright owners on books, documents or other works you are not authorised to use. We do not offer, and will not offer, password guessing or cracking;
• download, copy or convert other people’s copyrighted content without permission, such as videos or books from other websites;
• forge or alter documents to deceive others, such as receipts, official documents or other people’s signatures;
• attack or disrupt the service, send automated bulk requests that affect other users, or try to access systems without authorisation;
• resell the service or provide it to others commercially without our permission.

If we find a violation, we may suspend access immediately and may notify the relevant authorities as required by law.

4. User accounts

(Not available yet.) Sections 4 and 5 take effect when we launch accounts and payments, which we will announce on the website first.

Some features, such as Pro, require an account registered with your email. You must provide accurate information, keep access to your email and account secure, and tell us immediately if you suspect someone else is using your account. One account is for one person.

5. Pro plans and payment

• Pro costs 99 THB per month or 790 THB per year, paid by credit/debit card, and renews automatically each period until you cancel. You are charged on the first day of each new period at the announced price.
• Prepaid passes paid with PromptPay, Alipay or TrueMoney last for the period purchased and do not renew automatically, including the 29 THB day pass.
• Payments are processed by Opn Payments (Omise), a licensed payment provider. We never see or store your card number.
• Cancel any time from your account page. After cancelling you won’t be charged again and keep Pro until the end of the period already paid.
• If we change prices, we will email you at least 30 days before the renewal that uses the new price. You can cancel before then.
• Refunds follow our Refund Policy. We are not currently VAT-registered, so we issue receipts but cannot issue tax invoices.

6. Tips (“buy us a coffee”)

Money sent with the “buy us a coffee” button is a voluntary gift. It does not give you any rights, services or features and cannot be refunded, except for accidental duplicate or wrong-amount transfers, which you can report to [email protected].

7. Advertising

The website may show Google AdSense ads to keep the tools free. Advertising cookies are used as described in our Cookie Policy.

Some pages may show sponsor banners or affiliate links to shops such as Shopee or Lazada, always labelled. If you buy through an affiliate link we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. These banners are plain images and links hosted on our site, with no third-party scripts. We do not endorse sellers’ products or services; purchases are governed by the shop’s own terms.

8. Our intellectual property

The NextFileTools name, logo, site design and software belong to the operator or its licensors. Open-source software, models and fonts we use are under their own projects’ licenses; see Open-source licenses.

9. Service provided as is; limitation of liability

We aim for the tools to work correctly, but the service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee it will be error-free, always available, or fit for your particular purpose. Check the results before using them for anything important, and always keep your original files.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, loss of data, income or business opportunities arising from use of the service, and our total liability to you will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event (or 100 THB if you use the service for free). This limitation does not apply to damage caused by our wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or where the law does not allow liability to be limited.

10. Suspending or changing the service

We may add, improve or discontinue tools. If a change means you can no longer use Pro that you have paid for, we will refund the remaining period pro rata.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time and will show the last-updated date at the top. For significant changes affecting Pro members we will give notice by email or on the website in advance. Continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept the new terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by Thai law. Any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the Thai courts.
